The White Party

Each year P Diddy throws his notorious White Party around Memorial Day weekend. In the Hamptons, major players attend, all white is requested, bubbly flows, you know the drill.

Having been born so close to Memorial Day my friend Tripper & I have begun our own White Party right here in the DASH. Who says ballers only live in Long Island? We rock it out like no other.

One of my oldest and dearest friends is now a mama. Ethan James was born Sunday May 24 at 5:05 pm. He is the cutest thing I have ever seen, and I can't wait to spoil him every chance I get. He is already so lucky to have the coolest parents to show him their love for the beach, sweet pups, classic rock tunes, and the good life! Way to go Crystal and Adam!

golden birthday wish - one and only

Jamie over at I Suwannee celebrates her birthday month with a list of top gifts for the years since she's been born. 29 sure seems like a lot this year, since I really am so blessed (i.e. new kitchen, leather sofa, 4 new anthropologie dresses, bedroom furniture, new ipod plus all my old songs before old one was stolen, new purse for summer, my morning jacket tickets, new back deck and 5 lovely adirondack chairs = just too much to ask for.)

But if I could really have something extra just for me - not money to go towards the wedding, or wedding stuff in general - just for me, I have requested this lovely bangle I found via Etsy (the best online store of beautiful things ever).



Just so you know, this item just sold out today...If I know my JA, sounds like he was doing a little late bday shopping? hmmm a girl can dream.

Thanks to Nie!

Every few weeks I venture over to NieNie's Dialogues and experience a sort of re-awakening shall we say? This might be the strongest most real person i have ever met in our little blog world. She lightens my load in a sense and makes me long for the strength she has to face this world everyday. I know its been a while since the accident, but she still has a long road ahead and continued prayers are always helpful. Visit miss Nie sometime, I promise you won't regret it.


p.s. This friday is my monumental golden birthday! 29 on the 29th. I will blog more closer to the date.

If you want this haircut, in my personal opinion you are either
a) overbearing, control freak of a mother
b) completely outdated and
c) drive a mini-van that holds 15 people/kids/carseats

Puhlease people make this family go away. Who cares? Why do they care? I cannot go to USweekly anymore and see this ridiculous couple of money hungry child exploiters anymore.
