So our beloved JB is out of the office today on Jury Duty. I know she's not been selected yet since she is sending me text messages and updating her facebook status with posts such as:
JB hates forced conversation; and therefore, is pretending to read a book she just finished reading. And wishing the book was entitled, "How to Avoid Talking to People in a Juror Holding Room for an Entire Day".
and
JB is in juror room waiting to be called back...my "in accordence with the prophecy" gig didn't work...next round taking it up a notch to "what do you mean Law & Order isn't real?!"...
Even though we hate going to work everyday, a day like today can really make you see the light and want nothing more than to be back in your office, punching numbers into an Excel spreadsheet til your eyes cross and you hear the same song 8 times in one day on your pandora radio.
Good times...This one's for you JB-
ps JA is in Vegas at the moment. please say a small prayer to the casino gods he might win a couple of dollars on the nickel slot machines. thanks.
