So JA and I had a first pre-maritial counseling session. We aren't yet to the trust tree, but just getting to know our counselor and discussing family background stuff. It's going to be pretty interesting, and I'm really glad we are doing it.
We are coming up on 10 weeks away from our day. Crazy.
I was going to let the world know through this blog how it just hit me (not the first time of course), that damn we are 2 lucky people to have found each other and really truly love one another. respect, care for, all that stuff that i always wanted to find.
But since I wanted to find a fun image of Frank Ricard in his first therapy session, all I can think about is how much in common we have with the movie Old School. and now I'm kinda scared.
1. Our dog is named Frank - as in Frank the Tank.
2. An old co-worker told JA he reminded him of Frank Ricard. (i should probably run now)
3. Our good friend Tripp is Vince Vaughn's long lost twin brother. And Vince Vaughn lit my cigarette in college.
4. I have been to a Snoop Dog concert.
5. John's brother started his frat at his college.
6. My dad used to have a black a-team van like they drive around to pick up the pledges in.
...I mean, that's enough for me.
So now my hope is my future husband doesn't turn into this guy...
