The bf and the blog....

So I have been hooked on reading blogs for about a year now.
My name is Abby and I'm a blog addict. (everyone) HI ABBY.
I check frequently daily, and am borderline pissed when my favs haven't posted anything in the past 12 minutes of their last topic. and my alltime favorite thing is when I come across a blog I haven't checked out in a week or two and have tons of reading and posts to view.
The bf -JA- does not understand my passion for these things we call blogs. He on the couch watching the games, and me in the oversized chair reading and searching and finding these great hilarious women who have a crazy insight into my mind. He doesn't get it when I laugh out loud, and save pages, pictures of things that inspire me as much as the blogger who posted them. It's ok, it's my fantasy football/nascar/baseball/pingpong. whatever. I just don't think there's a rehab strong enough for me. I pimp these blogs out to all my non-blog reading friends, in hopes of getting them as hooked as I am...sometimes it works, sometimes not. A little peer pressure never hurt anyone.
A few months ago my co-worker Jackie and I decided we were just as good as some of our favs, and if they could do it, heck so could we! So we got busy one day inbetween our hours of Grant Account Analyses, monthly meeting coordinating, getting stuck listening to our boss gripe about if she should get her hair cut/botox/buy a new set of golf clubs-those important things that help our jobs going, and decided to start our own...I won't lie, it wasn't (and still isn't) easy. A blog is a huge committement! It's like a friendship, a bro-mance, you really have to put in 100% or else you get nothing back. And I've got a bad history of a one night standish kinda past - I'm the girl picking up her clothes and running out of the room before he wakes up...(until now of course JA is the true love of my life!) So here I am attempting to give as much as I can. Jackie obviously has more of a life than I do - wonderful hubby, adorable preteen - but we both care deeply for our skanks.
Tonight there was a joining of the bloggers, a radio station was set up online for everyone to come together and chat online and call in to talk to real-live bloggers. these girls are at the top of my list...i'm a lowly freshman in a sea of upperclassmen...the girls in the hall holding their keys to their brand new rides, and i'm waiting in front of the auditorium for dad to come scoop me...but eventually I was an upperclassman, and I rocked it out with the best of them. So what I'm trying to say is, watch out bitches (term of endearment of course!). I'll be there with ya'll soon enough!
