The eighties, that is. I'm kinda stuck there in my head...I listen to the GunsNRoses station via Pandora to help me get through the workday. When I was in high school I could go out on $10, gas up my '66 289 high-performance Mustang, get two 40 oz. Natural Lights at Genie's Gas and Go (no ID needed) , and still have plenty for a ham'n'cheese biscuit and large iced tea at Hardee's around 2am. My perfect outfit....kelly green Lacoste, pink Esprit shorts and green and pink plaid Tretorns - maybe my add-a-bead necklace to really dress it up. So sad that my daughter will never know the days without cell phones, Myspace, Facebook and blogs. Things were a lot less complicated then...
Sigh.
