After all the planning, celebrating, hoopla and such...it's all over. 2008, with it's ups and downs was full of newsworthy events. The unbelievable Superbowl "helmet catch" that brought the NY Giants to their win, China hosting the 2008 Olympics, my man Michael Phelps, the soaring price of gas, Governor Eliot Spitzer's prostitution scandal, Sarah Palin running for Vice President which revived SNL, and the election of our 44th President, Barack Obama, just to name a few. It is a time of reflecting and renewing.
For me personally, it's a time of detox, closet cleaning and to lace up the running shoes and hit the asphalt. I hope to spend less money on clothes, more time with family and be more diligent at work. As usual, I will keep these personal resolutions that I have set for myself, at least until February 8th or so...
xoxo
