In my humble opinion, she is one of the best dance/pop performers of my time, so for that I give her props.
But last night really didn't shed too much light on the past year- specifically that shady guy Sam whats-his-face or that other guy Adnar whatever...My diagnosis was she basically was in a really low place/downward spiral/lost little girl and had no one to trust or look out for her best interest and she crashed and burned and shaved her head (but I mean, people shave their head everyday).
But she obviously is doing better now, her dad Jamie was there to make sure she gets her Velveeta cheese grits for breakfast {its a southern girl breakfast}. She has a new assistant Brett who keeps her from biting her fingernails, goes along with Brit's attempts to read her mind and do her make-up...(hmm, I wonder what happened to her aunt?)
Her manager was there, what's his name...Larry! Larry Rudolph. He was in almost every frame and I think he liked it. I still feel bad for him from the 08 video awards where she won, and didn't thank him..I think he deserves a little public "thanks for saving my life and coming back to me after I left you for Sam Lufti, etc..."
Madonna was there to give her love and support looking very Cat-Lady like. Seriously, what has she done to herself? Lay off the fat injections in the cheeks & top lip please. Please beware of the image below...But it's where's Madge is heading if she keeps it up.
Her choreographer was interviewed a fair bit, and I think I love him. I suggest she keep him around. Forever.
I seriously love the new songs and I am sure she will be a huge hit on TRL...opps, not again :(
