Many blogger's pages I read have great posts of their lovely homes. This is my first attempt at being blog-artistic.
Back in the spring I stripped down our mantle and stained it a deep brown (with the help of my mom of course). It's one of my favorite things about our home. The view also has one of my famous bulky item pick-up finds - the chair - I found two and again they were stained (by mom) and cost a wopping like $10. And they are pretty fabulous if I do say so myself....check out those lines! and best of all they are comfortable too.
